Moreover, DJ/music producer Steve Aoki and Crunchyroll have partnered to launch a new apparel line of t-shirts and hoodies for Attack on Titan that feature printed designs of Eren, Mikasa, Levi, the Colossal Titan and the Founding Titan. Charaditional Toy recently announced a set of traditional Japanese playing cards based on the series as well.
Serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from 2009 to 2021, Isayama’s Attack on Titan series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga of all time alongside Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece and Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball. Wit Studio produced the first three seasons of the anime adaptation and MAPPA took over for the fourth and final season: Attack on Titan: The Final Season – Part 3 is set to make its debut sometime in 2023.
