Suspect in Texas school shooting that injured 4 released on bail
The suspect in a shooting at a Texas high school that left four people injured was released on bail Thursday.
Timothy George Simpkins turned himself in to police after fleeing from Timberview High School in Arlington on Wednesday.
He was booked on three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Simpkins was transferred to Tarrant County jail Thursday morning and released after posting $75,000 bail.
A 15-year-old who was shot in the incident was in critical condition and a 25-year-old who was shot was in "good condition,
Arlington police spokesperson Tim Ciesco said in a statement Thursday afternoon.
A third victim was released from the hospital Wednesday and fourth person was treated at the scene, police previously said.
Arlington Assistant Police Chief Kevin Kolbye said Wednesday the shooting occurred after a fight broke out between students.
