The United States has a "very serious" issue in Covid-19 vaccination, an official in the top health field has advised.

Vaccines are, by far, the most effective weapon available to fight the coronavirus

They can protect patients from falling seriously sick or being hospitalized and dying due to the virus.

Contrary to other less developed nations in the world, the US has enough doses of vaccines to immunize everyone,

as well as the necessary infrastructure that will facilitate the spread. The issue is that not everyone would like to take the shot.

We do have a problem with vaccine uptake that is very serious in the United States and anything we can do to get people more

comfortable to be able to accept these potentially life-saving medical products is something that we feel we are compelled to do," said Dr. Peter Marks

As per the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 48.7% of those older than 12 have had their vaccines

ully administered and received at minimum 1 booster shot within the US.
